Doughnut shop honors memory of fallen Mooresville K-9 officer with fundraiser

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A small business in Mooresville is throwing its support behind a fallen police officer’s foundation on Tuesday.

Down for Doughnuts is hosting a fundraiser for Mooresville K-9 Officer Jordan Sheldon, who died in the line of duty in 2019.

The business said 15% of the proceeds collected between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday will go to “Sheldon’s K-9′s,” a group that helps K-9 dogs and their handlers.

Down for Doughnuts is on East Iredell Avenue in Mooresville.
