CHARLOTTE — Long lines and wasted days at the DMV are now a thing of the past.

Starting Monday, the North Carolina DMV will make it easier for people to have walk-in appointments. The DMV announced that they will only be booking online appointments each morning through 11 a.m.

After noon, all of the department’s services will be available on a walk-in basis.

The DMV’s website is also getting a revamp; it will soon have a feature showing the estimated wait times at driver’s license offices. For more information on how to make an appointment, click here
