CHARLOTTE — Investment and development firm Carter USA recently closed on its purchase of a 25-acre property near Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The Atlanta-based developer closed Feb. 14 on the $7 million land deal, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. Matt Stankus of The Nichols Co. represented Carter USA. Will Carlton and John Nichols of The Nichols Co. represented the seller, listed on the deed as Floyd Smith Office Park LLC.
Nichols, president of The Nichols Co., said the property at 3800 Morehead Road, behind Floyd Smith Office Park, has already gone through a rezoning process.
