GASTONIA, N.C. — A North Carolina-based group has filed rezoning requests in Gastonia that would facilitate the development of neighboring apartment projects.
Gastonia Planning Commission documents show that hearings are scheduled to be held Dec. 8 for two rezoning requests from Wynnefield Forward LLC, which appears to be affiliated with Wynnefield Properties. The requests pertain to sites totaling around 44 acres off West Hudson Boulevard to the south of Gastonia.
Documents state that the rezonings would allow the development of over 400 apartments total at the two sites, including an age-restricted community.
