CONCORD, N.C. — The Concord City Council is holding a public hearing for a major project next week.
On Thursday, the council will hold a hearing for a $50 million development by Concord Master Venture LLC, an entity affiliated with Lansing Melbourne Group. The project calls for 294 residential units — 151 of which would be workforce housing — and 15,300 square feet of commercial space between three different buildings.
LMG would acquire the development sites, which are all city or county owned, for a total of $994,000, according to city documents. The first building, located at 30 Market St., would include 167 residential units and 3,300 square feet of retail space. The second, at 26 Union St. S., calls for 84 residential units and 7,100 square feet of commercial space. The final building is at 25 Barbrick Ave SW and would have 43 residential units and 4,900 square feet of commercial space.
