Pappas Properties has acquired approximately 82 acres at Stallings and Idlewild roads in Matthews for a total of nearly $19.7 million. The transactions involved multiple previous land owners and several of them took place earlier this month, while another was closed in September 2022, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
The land was rezoned by the town in March to allow for the development of Santé Matthews, a project with a range of residential and commercial uses.
The project’s first phase will include a for-sale residential component built by David Weekley Homes, along with road improvements around the project site.
