CHARLOTTE — Police say they’re investigating a death Monday afternoon in southwest Charlotte.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said on social media that detectives with its homicide unit were at a scene on Peachtree Drive, which is near Nations Ford Road.
Few details have been made available, and it’s not clear how many victims are involved.
Channel 9 went to the scene and saw CMPD officers appearing to clear the area around 3:15 p.m.
The police department hasn’t said if a suspect is wanted at this time. The victim hasn’t been identified yet.
