ROCK HILL, S.C. — Deputies said a man wanted for murder in Rock Hill was arrested in Florida Thursday.

Channel 9′s South Carolina bureau reporter Greg Suskin learned that the York County sheriff’s detectives were looking for Corey Jermaine Troupe, 49, as a suspect in the shooting on Quaint Lane.

Authorities said Troupe was arrested in Dade County for fatally shooting 34-year-old Tony Stephens.

The relationship between Troupe and Stephens and a motive has not been released.

It’s unclear whether Troupe will waive extradition. It’s also unclear whether Troupe had an attorney.
