BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 45-year-old woman who has been reported missing.
April Dawn Travis was last seen on Hwy 70 near East Burke Boulevard in June.

Deputies said she had been dropped off near that area and has not been seen or heard from since.
Travis is described as around 5 feet 9 inches and weighs approximately 170 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Burke County Sheriff’s Office at 828-438-5500.
