HARRISBURG, N.C. — A man is accused of flashing a 13-year-old girl at a popular shopping center in Harrisburg, and
Cabarrus County deputies said he made it easy for them to find him.
Daszmar Lamon Lockhart, 35, is charged with felony indecent exposure.

Authorities said Lockhart asked the teenage girl Wednesday for directions while at Brookdale Shopping Center when he exposed himself to her.
Deputies said while Lockhart was talking to the 13-year-old girl, he tried to keep the conversation going and during that time, he handed her a piece of paper. Investigators said that piece of paper had his car registration on it.
She kept the document that had Lockhart’s address on it, and that led police to him.
"That was a dumb criminal, and I have heard there are dumb criminals," shopper Elissa Mullis said.
Shoppers were disgusted by the alleged act.
"I think it's sad, you know,” shopper Chiriga Clemmons said. “It's very scary, especially if it's at a time when the kids are getting out of school."
Scott Scinscotti is a parent and said he always urges his daughter to be careful.
"Mostly, the safety of my daughter,” he said. “She's about that age. We don't let her walk around parking lots. It’s always a concern as a parent."
Deputies arrested Lockhart, who has since bonded out of jail.
