CONCORD, N.C. — Deputies have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl inside the bathroom of a Cabarrus County library.
Deputies had been searching for Larry Barrino, 32, since Nov. 17.
Deputies said the alleged assault took place at the Concord branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library System on Union Street North.

Officials said Barrino and the teenage girl were seen talking outside the library around 10 a.m. before walking into the library around 1 p.m. The two then headed to the men's bathroom where detectives said the teen was sexually assaulted.

A library employee called 911 after seeing the pair go into the bathroom.
Investigators said Barrino has no criminal background and did not know the girl.
He turned himself in to authorities Tuesday at the Union County Sheriff's Office and was placed under a $50,000 secured bond.
