Deputies find drug plants in mason jars during bust

ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — One man is facing charges after a drug bust in Alexander County.

Deputies said a tip led them to Adam Jackson.

After a month of keeping tabs on the operation, officers were finally able to arrest him.

Deputies said Jackson was growing a high grade of marijuana known as hydro in his home.

Along with the plants, investigators said they found a majority of the drugs in mason jars.

Jackson is being held in the Alexander County Jail under $50,000 bond.
