DENVER, N.C. — A man died after a mobile home caught fire in Denver early Friday morning, deputies said.
Firefighters responded to the home just after 3 a.m. on Water Oaks Drive near Claymont Lane.

The fire department said they saw flames coming from the roof and were able to put out the fire.
After, officials searched the home and found the body of 41-year-old David Sherill. He was the only person inside at the time of the fire.
Authorities are still investigating how the fire started.
