2 found dead after homicide in south Charlotte, CMPD says

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide in south Charlotte.

The incident occurred on the 9200 block of Kings Parade Boulevard.

Upon arriving on the scene, CMPD officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

MEDIC pronounced both of the victims dead.

According to police, the incident was a murder-suicide due to the suspect taking their own life.

CMPD says they are not looking for any additional suspects at this time.
