CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said they have charged a suspect with murder months after the shooting death of a man in northeast Charlotte.
Authorities said Jamarr Trantwan James, 26, was picked up by CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team Wednesday.
He is charged in the shooting death of Damien Rashad Mack, 37, who police said was found dead by a neighbor outside a house on Atmore Street in March.
At the conclusion of his interview with detectives, James was transported to the Mecklenburg County Jail.
