CHARLOTTE — Police are investigating a fatal crash that has the main entrance to Atrium Health University City shut down Friday morning.
The main entrance to the hospital on East WT Harris Boulevard was closed after the crash happened around 6:20 a.m.

MEDIC said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Channel 9 crews were being kept of hospital property, but we are asking police for more information about what happened.
CMPD said the hospital’s entrance beside the library and the entrance on North Tryon Street remain open.
