CHARLOTTE — All lanes of the Interstate 485 inner loop in northwest Charlotte were shut down Thursday afternoon after a deadly crash, officials said.
One person died and another was treated for serious injuries at the wreck near Oakdale Road that happened around 4 p.m.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene where a white truck was flipped over onto its roof.

Expect delays in the area. DOT said the road is expected to reopen at 8 p.m.
All lanes were reopened by 6:30 p.m.
