CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Seven times as many people used e-scooters over dockless bikes in August, according to stats from the City of Charlotte.
New stats released by the city say there were 140,000 trips on the scooters and 20,000 trips on the bikes.

Council members are fans of the shared mobility options. Leaders plan to work with the state delegation on possible rules for their use.
