MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — As coronavirus cases continue to grow, officials said some places that are still open, like greenways and parks, are too crowded.
Mecklenburg County health officials told Channel 9′s Dashawn Brown that they could take more drastic measures if needed.

“Based on what we saw yesterday with the parks, with the lakes, with the sandbars and other types of situations in our community, there are still a lot of people who are not taking it seriously. We need everyone, everyone to be part of the solution,” said Gibbie Harris, Mecklenburg County health director.
