MONROE, N.C. — A crash closed the eastbound lanes of US 74 for a few hours on Wednesday morning, according to the Monroe Police Department.
Police say the crash happened just before 12:30 a.m. on US 74 near Secrest Avenue and involved a Tyson truck and two cars.
A Channel 9 news crew was live at the scene, where wreckers and first responders worked to reopen the road.
Officers had the wreck cleared just before 5 a.m.
Channel 9 is working to learn more about any injuries from the crash.
