CHARLOTTE — The story behind Mano Bella Artisan Foods is like one from a movie.
In 2013, Madison Patrizi was studying in Rome, Italy, for her thesis. It’s the same city Raffaele Patrizi calls home. One night, Madison and Raffaele met at a discoteca.
“It was just instant. From the very first moment we just had this connection and just knew that we had found the one,” Madison said.
A week later, Madison had to fly home to Los Angeles.
Fast forward to ten years later, and now the two are married and live in Charlotte. They opened Mano Bella Artisan Foods two years ago.
