CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Coyotes were spotted Thursday afternoon in an east Charlotte neighborhood.
The animals walked along the streets and through yards in the Hampshire Hills neighborhood.
Rozeann Griggs took pictures of the coyotes.
“We've got elderly. We've got a day care right at the corner here, and if this animal is mangey, if it's carrying rabies, you know anything can happen,” Griggs said. “It's a health and safety issue and the more people that are aware that it's around here, the better.
