Coworkers tip off feds after NC man seen on video inside Capitol on Jan. 6

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A North Carolina man turned himself in on charges connected to the U.S. Capitol attack on Jan. 6.

Federal documents show that two former coworkers outed Anthony Scirica. The coworkers reportedly saw the Kernersville man in a video on “Inside Edition.”

Documents also show a third tipster took a screenshot of Scirica’s Snapchat video showing him inside the Capitol.

A few other people from Kernersville are also facing charges, including a man that investigators said played a key role in organizing the attack.
