CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As COVID-19 cases continue to surge in North Carolina, more local restaurants and bars are shutting their doors.
In Plaza Midwood, there is a large concentration of bars and every one of them has struggled to survive in the pandemic.

There have also been plenty of times a restaurant or bar has closed because someone was infected with COVID-19.
