CHARLOTTE — In January, a video of Ray Singleton serenading his wife, who was battling cancer, went viral.
Singleton made the video to cheer up his wife, Roslyn, who underwent surgery to remove a cancerous brain tumor for the second time.
The newlyweds wanted to have a child, but the tumor put those plans on hold.
“Chemo can affect your ovaries,” Roslyn Singleton said. “So we needed to take steps in order to prevent that.”
