GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A man and woman accused of murder in Colorado were arrested in Gaston County Friday, police said.
Madison Blackburn, 21, and Luciano Pogorzelski, 23, were arrested at a gas station in Gastonia on drug charges, and then authorities in Colorado were contacted.
Police from Cañon City, Colorado said Blackburn and Pogorzelski were staying with relatives in North Carolina.

Cañon City police came to North Carolina to question them about 39-year-old Richard Fay's murder eight days ago, according to Denver 7.
Officials said the pair had contact with Fay in the days before his murder on Sept. 29. Police said Fay was found shot to death in front of a house in Cañon City, Colorado.
According to our news partners at the Gaston Gazette, Luciano told a friend he had to shoot his way out of a situation with a guy trying to steal his girlfriend.
