MATTHEWS, N.C. — Cookies laced with pot were brought to Mint Hill Middle School on Wednesday, according to a police report.
Police said a person brought the “chocolate cookie tainted with marijuana.” It was reported around 9:30 a.m. at the school along Idlewild Road.
It’s not clear if the person who brought it was a student or just how many cookies were brought to the school.
When Channel 9 asked Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a representative said the district is not able to confirm any student information per federal law but that any student who violates the code of student conduct will be disciplined accordingly.
