CHARLOTTE — Crescent Communities is adding another multifamily project to its Charlotte-area portfolio.

Construction on Novel Mallard Creek, a 310-unit apartment complex, is expected to begin later this month with targeted completion in fall 2023. The project will be built on a site at 9001 Senator Royall Drive in University Research Park.

Crescent’s design partners for Novel Mallard Creek include Hord Coplan Macht, LandDesign and McVeigh + Mangum. The project will have studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
