CONCORD, N.C. — A gun range in Concord is reaching out to teachers Monday night.
The Eagle Guns and Range posted on its Facebook page that its giving school employees a discount.
It said the teachers and administrators can learn basic skills and become more confident.
This comes as the National Rifle Association wants to put guns in schools following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut.
But the President Barack Obama administration said that is not the answer. They are trying to push more gun control.
Cabarrus County Commissioners plan to vote Monday night on a gun rights resolution.
It will say they don't want anyone in the federal government to pass a law that would change the Second Amendment.
The Independent Tribune reported it has a modified version of a resolution passed on Beaufort County earlier this year.
