Complaints lead to health department inspection of Rock Hill Olive Garden

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Two people told Channel 9 they got sick after eating at the Rock Hill Olive Garden.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control told Channel 9 that the two complaints were received on Monday and Tuesday.

DHEC inspected the restaurant on Tuesday and gave it a “B” grade. A “B” grade signifies needed improvement on food safety practice.

The health department said most of the issues found in the inspection were fixed right away.

An inspector is set to go back in 10 days to see if any remaining health safety concerns have been addressed.
