Community raises money for family of Rock Hill firefighter killed in car crash

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A community is supporting a Rock Hill firefighter’s loved ones after he died suddenly, CN2 News reports.

David Campbell died in a car crash just days before Christmas.

Now, fellow firefighter Dan Ozog is using his golf cart repair business to raise money for Campbell’s family. Ozog will donate a dollar for every like and share the organization Cart Clinic receives on Facebook.

”The more we can give, the less stress they have,” Ozog told CN2 News. “If there’s one more worry we can remove, for whether it’s his wife, or his kids in the future for education needs, or just to give them opportunities.”

A GoFundMe for Campbell’s family has already surpassed its goal of raising $25,000.
