CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Business Journal's sixth annual College Journeys special publication will be released on Friday. The magazine is designed to give parents and prospective students an easy-to-navigate guide to North Carolina's institutions of higher learning.

Here, CBJ shares the collected data on the top public universities in North Carolina, ranked by total annual cost of attendance.
The ranking of private school cost of attendance will publish on Tuesday.
College Journeys is the result of a collaboration of the Charlotte Business Journal, the Triangle Business Journal and the Triad Business Journal. This year's magazine includes a description of the culture of each school offered by a top administrator. CBJ also added a new listing for South Carolina's largest universities.
