NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The United States Coast Guard rescued three people from a sinking tug boat in North Myrtle Beach.
Just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Coast Guard tweeted that the 59-foot boat sank about three miles off the coast Tuesday night.

The vessel has reportedly 5,000 gal of diesel fuel on board. There are no reports of shoreline impacts and salvage coordination is ongoing. pic.twitter.com/uVnSvKXaRW
The boat reportedly had 5,000 gallons of fuel on board. However, there were no injuries.
The Coast Guard said there have been no reports of any impact on the shoreline and they are still working to salvage the wrecked tug boat.
