CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools leaders say a new transportation plan will help families in the Mecklenburg County area.
The service is called “CMS Express Stops” and the goal is to have buses make fewer stops along the way to school.

The district says it will keep them from having to hire more drivers and bring more consistent schedules. It’s expected to start next school year.
