CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One student was treated for minor injuries Monday morning after a school bus with 17 students on board was involved in a crash in east Charlotte, officials said.
Officials said the crash happened when a vehicle hit both a pole and the bus on Albemarle Road near Olde Savannah Road.
Officials with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said the crash involved bus No.1395 from Albemarle Middle School.
Mecklenburg Emergency Medical Services officials said one student was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with minor injuries.
Channel 9 is asking officials what led to the crash.
