CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A minister’s daughter and Charlotte native is now Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s newest deputy chief.
Sherie Pearsall has worked her way up the ranks over the last two decades.

“I knew I was going to do something in service, but never thought in law enforcement,” Pearsall said.
