CHARLOTTE — A woman has been charged in connection with a homicide Monday night at an apartment complex in northeast Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
It happened in the parking lot of the Century University City Apartments on Dave McKinney Avenue around 10 p.m.
At the scene, CMPD found 33-year-old Diondre Bittle shot in the parking lot. MEDIC pronounced Bittle dead at the scene.
On January 3, police announced that 35-year-old Sabrina Nayeele Roth had been identified as a suspect in this case.
Roth has been arrested and charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery, according to CMPD.
The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a homicide unit detective.
