CMPD: Suspect in north Charlotte murder arrested after months-long search

CHARLOTTE — Police have arrested a suspect in a deadly north Charlotte shooting that happened in March.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said 21-year-old Reginald Lawshawn Harrison faces multiple charges, including murder and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Investigators said he killed 20-year-old Nasir Quron Boyd on March 14 at the Ivy Hollow Apartments on Tanager Park Drive in north Charlotte.

Police said the investigation was drug-related, but didn’t give many more details.
