CMPD searching for man accused of stealing multiple cars from dealerships

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for a man they say stole at least two cars from local dealerships.

There are more than 20 warrants for Todd Houston's arrest in Charlotte and other local counties.

In June, CMPD said he stole a $35,000 BMW 4 Series from Hendrick BMW on Independence Boulevard in southeast Charlotte.

In July, Houston is accused of driving off in a Dodge Challenger Hellcat worth $60,000 from Hendrick Automotive on Monroe Road.

Police advise the public if you know where he is to call 911 as soon as possible. There is a $3,000 cash reward for anyone who has information that leads to his arrest.
