Neighbors told Eyewitness News reporter Mark Barber that they heard several shots fired.
Officers set up a perimeter and K-9 was brought to the scene to help find the suspect but so far no arrests have been made.
Channel 9 crime-mapped the area and found that there have been two homicides within a half-mile of the house this year.
