Investigators learned Debold was out on parole from criminal possession of a firearm in New York at the time of the incident.
After he was taken to a hospital for evaluation, and then taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of assault on a law enforcement officers with a firearm, assault on a female, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
