CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A pedestrian was hit by a truck Monday night in east Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Central Avenue. Two westbound lanes of Central were shut down while police investigated.
The driver of the truck told Channel 9 the man walked into the side of his truck. The driver was on scene talking with police.
The injuries were not life-threatening.
No names have been released.
