CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man wanted in connection with a homicide turned himself into police on Wednesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
William Vandale Medlin is charged with the murder of Lucas Baldwin Sunday afternoon at the Tanglewood Apartments on Wynbrook Way.

Police said Medlin and Baldwin knew one another.
Baldwin's shooting death marked the 37th homicide in Charlotte in 2017.
