CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it has charged a man with 16 felonies after he used a secret recording device to film an unclothed 14-year-old girl.

Police said they responded to Sandburg Avenue in University City Sunday afternoon for reports of a secret peeping incident.
Police said the investigation revealed 22-year-old Mhongmua Li secretly recorded the teenager, whom he knows.
Li was taken into custody and charged with 16 counts of peeping using a photographic imaging device.
