CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for two men accused of robbing a Charlotte woman at gunpoint early Monday morning and then, leading officers on a chase.
The robbery happened just before 3 a.m. on Barringer Drive, near Remount Road and West Boulevard.

Officials said two men approached a woman and stole her car at gunpoint. When officers found the car in the Beatties Ford Road, they attempted a traffic stop but the car kept going.
The suspects led officers on a brief chase until they jumped from the car and ran into a neighborhood off of Capps Hill Mine Road.

CMPD’s K-9 Unit tried to track the suspects, but they were unable to find them. Authorities have not identified the suspects or released any other information about the suspects.
The victim was not hurt during the robbery and no one injured during the chase.
