CHARLOTTE — Police said they are looking for two suspects after more than 50 rounds were fired at a southwest Charlotte home over the weekend while children were playing nearby.
The shooting, captured on video, happened just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Nations Drive off Nations Ford Road.
In the video tweeted by CMPD, you can see two people get out of a red Dodge Charger and open fire. Children playing outside nearby can then be seen running for cover.
Police said more than 50 handgun and rifle rounds were fired.

No one was hurt in the shooting, but two houses and four vehicles were hit by bullets, police said.
Neighbor Norma Hernandes said she heard the whole thing happen.
“This neighborhood is really quiet. And I never seen something like that, so, I was scared,” she said. “I’m scared because I have two kids, you know?”
Officers arrested 20-year-old Christopher Gilmore on Monday in connection with the shooting but said they’re still looking for two other suspects.
Many other neighbors were too afraid to speak on camera but said they just want them caught.
Detectives want the public to watch the video and call 911 immediately if anyone knows the identity of the two other suspects involved in the shooting.
The public can also give information anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or online.
In addition to being anonymous, anyone who gives Crime Stoppers information about this case is eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to an arrest.
