CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department located a longhorn bull that went missing on Monday night.
The 900-pound dark brown bull was seen trotting along Moores Chapel Road earlier this week. The bull was found sometime Friday night.
It was later euthanized by its owners, with CMPD on scene.
Police said the bull was euthanized due to the animal being a big concern for public safety, as well as an animal traffic hazard.
I’ve confirmed with CMPD Animal Care & Control that after the bull was found, the owners euthanized it with CMPD officers on scene. Charlotte’s missing bull is dead. @wsoctv pic.twitter.com/1F1lK2KuUR
