CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation in southeast Charlotte.
It happened shortly before 10 p.m. on the 3400 block of Marvin Road.
According to officers, a victim with gunshot wounds was found at the scene. That person was later pronounced deceased by MEDIC.
On Tuesday, CMPD identified the victim as 23-year-old Dailan Chinchilla Gonzalez.
Police didn’t provide any other details on the shooting or if a suspect is wanted.
CMPD is asking for anyone with information about the shooting to call 704-432-8477.
