Arrest made days after man was killed in southeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Police arrested Christian Holt Thursday and charged him for the murder of 20-year-old D’Andre Damian McLean.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, officers were called around 6:50 a.m. to the scene on Tartan Court, off Rama Road Monday morning . They found a man, identified as D’Andre Damian McLean, slumped over inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.

McLean was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT), North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the United States Secret Service found and arrested Christian Holt without incident, according to police.
