CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man has been charged for the murder of a 27-year-old in north Charlotte Tuesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting just before noon on Lasalle Street near Erie Street.

Once police got to the scene, they found Adam Bittle, 27, who had been shot. Officers confirmed he died at the scene.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene, where several police cars and crime scene tape could be seen.
On Wednesday, police arrested Angelo Pozo, 30, at his home. He was charged with first-degree murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and assault with a deadly weapon with intention to kill.
No other details have been released at this point.
